Christian Outreach Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that provides a free afterschool program, Outreach Afterschool for elementary students at Oak Springs Elementary which started in the Fall of 2010. The extremely high level of crime, drug use, and negligence among youth of these ages draws this organization to implement a Christian based program to keep them out of trouble and to teach them about Christ. Numerous parents cannot afford afterschool care services (70% of low income families), and after school hours are when many children are unsupervised and are in desperate need of care, attention, and discipleship. The Christian Outreach Foundation is determined to follow God’s will to protect and guide children who lack the resources to do so themselves.
